About Us
Chengdu Famous Food is a modern Sichuan eatery located in University City, founded back in 2017. Chefs use dishes to present the taste of their nostalgia and celebrate their culture with diversified customers in UC. It may bring a totally new sensation to you.
Our executive chef Xue (pronounced like sue-yeah) is a Chengdu native. Chengdu is the capital of Sichuan, the home of pandas. Chef Xue is the licensed level I chef trained at Chengdu back in 70s, highest level among professional chefs in China. He was the executive chef at a five stars hotel in Hong Kong before coming to US. He has been helping to set up kitchens and trained chefs at more than a few restaurants in NYC, NJ and Philly.
